Privacy Policy

ColorfulWallpapers (https://colorfulwallpapers.com) is a wallpaper download site. This page explains what we collect, what third parties collect on our pages, and how you can control that. We do not ask you to create an account to browse or download.
Who we are
The data controller is the independent operator of ColorfulWallpapers. Privacy questions go to [email protected]. There is no separate data-protection officer. We do not sell personal information, including as that phrase is used under laws such as the CCPA.
What we collect ourselves
When you visit the site, our host or CDN may store ordinary server logs:
- IP address, browser user agent, and the URL you requested
- Date and time of the request, and a coarse country from the CDN
- The text of a message you choose to send to [email protected]
We use logs to keep the site up, catch abuse, and answer support mail. We do not use them to build a marketing profile. We do not collect precise GPS location. We do not ask for a date of birth, payment card, or government ID.
Paid email subscription and payments
The subscribe page describes a paid email alert — $9.90 USD billed monthly or $99 USD billed yearly. Checkout is not open today. If you write to [email protected] to join the waitlist, we keep that message the same way we keep other support mail.
When checkout opens, paid orders are processed by Waffo Pancake as Merchant of Record. We may then receive your subscriber email, the plan you chose, the transaction amount, payment status, and a transaction ID so we can send wallpaper emails and answer billing mail. Full card numbers are processed only by Waffo Pancake and are not stored on our servers. Waffo Pancake has its own privacy practices as the legal seller.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file a site or its partners store on your device. Pixels and web beacons are tiny images or scripts that record that a page loaded. We use cookies for two jobs: measuring traffic (Google Analytics) and showing ads (Google AdSense and Google's advertising partners).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you do, ads may become less relevant and some measurement will be incomplete. The wallpaper files themselves still download.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (G-V8DBDEHK4C) to see which pages are used and whether the site is fast enough. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies and receive a truncated or full IP address according to Google's current product settings. We do not send your name or email address to Analytics. We do not join Analytics data with a customer record, because we do not keep one.
Third-party advertising, cookies, and identifiers
We use Google AdSense (ca-pub-4994924685307974) to show ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, and other advertising partners that participate in Google's ad system, use cookies, advertising IDs, and web beacons to collect information about your visits to this site and to other sites. They use that information to serve ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to measure whether an ad was shown.
These partners may serve interest-based advertising (sometimes called personalised or interest-based ads). That means an ad on this site can be chosen using a cookie or device identifier that reflects activity on this site and on other sites in their network. We do not tell Google your email address, phone number, or name when an ad is requested, and we do not put that kind of personal information in page URLs or in a data layer for ads.
Google's use of advertising cookies and how you can opt out is described in Google's advertising policy pages, including How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google Ads Settings. You can also visit aboutads.info/choices to opt out of many interest-based ads from participating companies.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Consent, Consent Mode, and ads in the EEA
Before Google Analytics or AdSense load, the site sets Google Consent Mode v2 defaults to denied for ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation, and analytics storage. A consent banner then asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Accept grants those signals and loads Analytics plus personalised AdSense. Reject keeps them denied, skips Analytics, and if ads load they are requested as non-personalised. We also load Google Funding Choices so a Google-certified CMP message can appear when that message is enabled in AdSense Privacy & messaging.
Your choice is stored in a first-party cw-consent-v1 key in localStorage so the banner does not ask again on every page. Clearing site data in the browser resets it. You can still use Google Ads Settings to turn off personalised ads from Google, or block third-party cookies in the browser. If you send us email, you can ask us to delete that thread.
How we use information
- Deliver the site and wallpaper files — contract / legitimate interests
- Send paid wallpaper-update emails once checkout is open — contract
- Process billing through Waffo Pancake — contract
- Answer support, cancel, and refund mail — contract / legitimate interests
- Keep the site up and stop abuse — legitimate interests
- Measure traffic with Analytics after consent — consent
- Show ads with AdSense after consent — consent
- Meet legal record-keeping duties — legal obligation
We do not send third-party marketing lists. Subscription emails are the product you paid for.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers bound to use it for that job: the host and CDN, Google Analytics and AdSense when you consent, and Waffo Pancake for paid orders. We may disclose data if the law requires it. We do not sell a user list.
Retention
- Server logs: a short operational window, typically weeks, unless we are investigating abuse
- Support and waitlist mail: about 2 years, or sooner if you ask us to delete the thread
- Subscriber email: while the plan is active, then about 90 days after it ends
- Transaction records held by Waffo Pancake: as long as tax and card-network rules require
Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to some processing, or receive a copy in a portable form. Email [email protected]. We aim to reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Consent for ads and Analytics can be withdrawn with the cookie banner or by clearing site data.
International transfers
Hosting, CDN, Google, and Waffo Pancake may process data outside your country, including the United States and other regions those vendors use. They apply their own contractual safeguards for those transfers.
Security and incidents
The site is served over HTTPS. We do not store passwords or card numbers. If a breach is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority within 72 hours of discovery where the law requires it.
Children
This site is a general wallpaper library. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). Paid subscriptions are for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has written to us, email [email protected] and we will delete that message.
External links
Some pages link to other sites (for example Google's policy pages or Waffo documentation). Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Changes
Material changes will be posted here at least 15 days before they take effect, and the date at the top will change. Active subscribers will get an email when checkout is open.
